I’d like to get rid of most of my paper books, and I thought I’d have a few contests to give some of them away here. These books are all “preread”, some with marks and page folds. The fact that I am giving them away doesn’t signify their worth — in many cases I really enjoyed them, and/or I also own the digital or audio versions. I’m just not a re-reader (a defect I am always trying to remedy).
This contest is only open to folks in the US or Canada.

Just read The Mane Attraction by Shelly Lauraston. Loved it she is always good for lots of laughs! All of her books should come with a warning that you will break out in laughter so be aware of where you are!
I finished The Conqueror by Kris Kennedy this week. My copy is digital and loved it so much that I went and bought a paper copy so I could share it with my sisters, who have not yet been converted to my ebook ways. I will be keeping both copies!
I just finished Laura Kinsale’s Lessons in French. What a great story! I am not a big re-reader either but I do like to re-visit certain passages in well loved stories. And since there were plenty of great moments in this book I think I will be keeping it.
According to Jane by Marilyn Brant is a definite keeper on my shelf.

by Sandra Brown. This, and all of Ms. Browns’s past category romances, are well written, warm and witty. I’m hermetcally sealing it for the ages.
On my virtual keeper shelf, KA Mitchell’s NO SOUVENIRS that comes out in March. Brilliant, wonderful, amazing. Can’t wait for its release to pimp it far and wide.
I recently read Archangel’s Kiss by Nalini Singh. I loved this book and had to add it to my keeper shelf to await a re-read.

My most recent keeper is a nonfiction book called ‘Made From Scratch: A Memoir’ by Sandra Lee. She’s the host of a Food Network show called ‘Semi-Homemade Cooking With Sandra Lee.’ The book is over two years old but I just read it a few months ago. She didn’t have the greatest childhood so that’s what made me want to read the book in the first place.

Last great book I read (besides a few in my RITA stack) was In Bed with a Stranger by Mary Wine.
Last keeper book I read was Grimspace by Ann Aguirre. Definitely need to get the rest in this series.
Well, I don’t think I have won anything from your blog, but I can’t seem to remember for definite, LOL. That’s probably a sign I enter to many contests.
Well, my last keeper read was Switch by Megan Hart, but I would also like to mention A Duke of Her Own by Eloisa James. I checked that one out from the library so technically it can’t be called a keeper, since I had to give it back. I really did like that one and if I had bought it I would have kept it. So there you go…
THE BLISS FACTOR by Penny McCall – it’s fast-paced, funny, sensual and just a great read. I also like that it took place in a part of Michigan that I used to live in, and could really picture where they were at!
Don’t Tempt Me by Loretta Chase – I know you thought it was misogynistic Jessica but I loved loved loved it – it was a return to all the things I love about a Loretta Chase novel and I enjoyed is so much more than My Scandalous Ways. I loved the humour and the connection between the characters – it’s definitely on my (e)keeper shelf.
Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare is the latest on my keeper shelf!
My most recent keeper is Soulless by Gail Carriger. I found it to be an excellent debut / first book in a new series. It featured strong world-building, a cute couple, and was out-and-out funny. It was my first (but certainly not my last) Steampunk novel.
My most recent keeper(s) are the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs. Wish I’d read them sooner so I would have more time for re-reading!

I just finished Succubus Blues by Richelle Meed in audiobook format and am soooo going to pick up the print version and move on to the next book in the series. Certainly a keeper for me.
