Silver Falls by Anne Stuart. All her books are auto-buys for me.

The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt. I've had this book on my TBB list for a while, and finally decided to go for it.

Lucky's Lady by Tami Hoag. I stumbled upon an excerpt and was hooked after the first pages.

Duke of Shadows by Meredith Duran. Because of the good reviews.

Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. Love bad boy heroes!

1. Hard and Fast by Erin McCarthy - I really enjoyed Flat-Out Sexy and couldn't wait to read the next one in the series.

2. The Madness of Lord Ian Mckenzie by Jennifer Ashley - The online buzz for this book is amazing and I have wanted to try a book by Jennifer Ashley for a while.

3. True Love and Other Disasters by Rachel Gibson - I have enjoyed reading most of Rachel Gibson's books in the past and thought this one sounded good.

4. Always A Scoundrel by Suzanne Enoch - A read the first 64 pages on the Avon website last month, and I thought it was great beginning, so I had to buy it. I have also read several wonderful reviews for it online.

5. Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas - Lisa Kleypas is my favorite author and I always buy her books.

1. To Seduce a Sinner (Elizabeth Hoyt) - I was influenced by the online hype about To Beguile a Beast. It made me go back and read The Serpent Prince and the Leopard Prince and To Taste Temptation - which I had already in my TBR pile. So I went on an Elizabeth Hoyt binge and picked this one up.

2. Vision in White (Nora Roberts) - it was in the K-Mart catalogue nicely discounted and I am a Nora whore.

3. Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins)- it was cheap in K-Mart and I'd read a lot about it on DA and other sites. Also I heard it was being made into a movie.

4. Salvation in Death (JD Robb) - did I mention I was a Nora whore? Also it was finally out in Australia as a MMP and discounted at K-Mart.

5. Then Comes Marriage (Mary Balogh) - I had just finished First Comes Seduction and I went nom, nom, nom.

So, I guess I am influenced a fair amount by the internet, huh?

My five, oldies picked up at the UBS:

1. The Spare by Carolyn Jewel -- I liked Scandal by her and I couldn't resist picking up this earlier title.

2. Heart of the West by Penelope Williamson -- I've never read her but she makes a lot of best of lists.

3. To Tept a Scotsman by Victoria Dahl -- I liked her contemp, Talk Me Down, and since I'm a sucker for historicals ...

4. Hidden Agendas by Lora Leigh She's a new to me author and I know she's popular.

5. Lily by Lauren Royal No good reason, it was there.

Also in my Amazon cart are several of the recent releases which I chose based on hype/internet reviews.

Um...last five mean I'd need to actually check the shipping dates to know which books were the more recent purchases, and check the title of the huffing pile of non-descript Harlquins I bought at the library clearance sale last week...I'm too lazy to do that, so here's an approximate lsit:

1. Lover Avenged, J.R. Ward - because I'm a BDB addict (although it is steadily decreasing.. :(

2. Frisco's Kid, Suzanne Brockmann - finally found a cheap copy on eBay.

3. Forbidden Nights with a Vampire, Kerrelyn Sparks - one of my few auto-buys left. I love this author's humour and style.

4. Transgressions by Erastes - finally heard the right things abou it to rouse my interest, and I was glad to encourage a new line of M/M books in print

5. One night with a prince, Sabrina Jeffries - library clearance sale (books 2,50$ a kilo), the only romance title I remember from the 30 books I bought. This title was listed in my agenda as one of the SJ books with higher ratig on AZ, so I picked it up.

4. The Conqueror by Kris Kennedy - her debut book that sounds good and I love medievals.

5. At Last Comes Love by Mary Balogh - autobuy author, enjoying this series.

1. A total of 6 Harlequin Presents from back in the 80s and 90s. I lumped them all together because the titles are irrelevent to my buying them. I love HPs, especially the older ones so if I find them for .25 cents each I buy them. These were at the hospital fundraiser table.

2. The 4 Harlequin Presents Extras for this month. Again titles are irrelevant since I buy all of the new ones each month. I love all of the unlikely plotlines that are soooo un-pc.

3 Lori Foster's The Watson Brothers. Somehow I missed this book. Since I love Foster's books and it was $1 at the library sale, how could I pass it up?

4. Tempted at Midnight by Jacquie D'Alessandro. I buy all of her historical books excluding the anthologies. This one is part of a series, which I love.

5 Burning Wild by Christine Feehan. I buy all of her books when they come out in pb (except for the comic). Her books get reread.

3.Till There Was You- Lynn Kurland
One of my last autobuy romance authors

4.Private Arrangements- Sherry Thomas

What a fun idea for a contest!

1. Hard and Fast by Erin McCarthy because I loved her first in the car racing series she is writing.
2. Too Hot to Handle by Robin Kaye--Contemporary and the cover caught my attention.
3. To Beguile a Beast by Elizabeth Hoyt--One of the best Historical romance writers right now. I've been highly anticipating this book.
4. Seducing Mr. Darcy by Gwyn Cready--Randomly purchased at B&N because I love Mr. Darcy and this seemed like a new spin on Jane Austen type stories.
5. TMI by Sarah Quigley (it's YA but I bought it.)--I love YA and my library hasn't received this one yet so I just decided to do it. The cover is very eye catching too.
